Looks great, will stop by next time I'm in the area. This also gives me a interesting idea. Many realtors will just post a home as a single separate unit, and fail to include information about the neighborhood around it; such as any great restaurant etc... Especially considering that markets such as realty in Calgary are expected to grow this year, realtors might was to start marketing neighborhoods as well as homes to attract buyers.

Hi Sam,

What a great idea for a series! I totally agree regarding what makes a neighborhood. My local coffee shop is a base for me, and without it, I just wouldn't think as highly of my neighborhood. Looking forward to seeing more of the videos!

You are so right Sam, coffee shops really do make a neighbourhood. I think two Lesslieville coffee hang outs worth a shout-out are Red Rocket and I*deal coffee. They are further down from the rest and go to show how Queen East is really developing and filling in.
Ideal is of particular note. They have a history of setting up shop close to the action but staking a claim to what they feel might be the more tucked away, "cooler" area. (Like when they chose Ossington over Queen West proper). The fact that they've chosen to be close to Coxwell is very telling.
